    1. Um simple answer is think before you do. You've formatted your PC, right? What made you think this would be any different? But, anyway, you may not have actually wiped everything. Stuff may still be on your sd card, if that's the case, you could root it again and run Root Explorer app and see if you can find your shit. To find out if there's a bunch of stuff on there before rooting, try loading up your phone with USB and see if there's a lot of space taken up that shouldn't be.

  6. question after rooting it worked successfully, but then for some reason apps started crashing randomly like maps. or id run wifi tether and it would work, but then id get a message saying phone has taken control over root access, as if id have root but then phone would override it and then the wifi tether would restart. any suggestions? also is it a good idea to update the superSU? also i just ended up unrooting through superSU and then i did factory erase and now everything seems to be working better, gonna root again and see, any suggestions or insight before i go again.

  7. I have the Galaxy S3 (Sprint) SPH-L710 on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Firmware. The problem I’m having is getting the root successful. I’m very experience with the process. I've flashed it 16 times now. I’ve tried resetting the count but without root i can’t reset it either. I’ve tried doing a hard reset to start all over, but still no luck. What else could i do to reset the count and root the bad boy?

    1. You need to get root explorer and in the root tab, do a search and search the file host. When you find the file, delete it, restart the phone, and play store should work

  12. New Galaxy S3 (Sprint). Followed the directions, all worked as described, but the phone did not root. Must be something new that Sprint has done to the phone. This same issue is appearing on a number of other forums.

  14. I bought this model phone "Sprint GS3 16 GB SPH-L710" from a guy and have spent 2 days in various forums trying MANY ways to get the MSL (SPC) for this phone becase I want to switch it to straight talk. If I do this method, will I be full admin so I can get the MSL or will this process unlock the phone by its self; at which pointI could then call my provider to set service? Also, reading this process it sounds like some videos I have seen about downgrading the JB 4.1.2 to 4.1.1 so the "getprop fil.MSL" code works; is this what the process is doing or am I completely lost?

    pleaaaaaaasssssee help :(

  15. Does this unlock the phone so I can switch carriers, or do I have to install a custom recovery to switch from sprint to Net 10?

    1. Your best bet to root the sprint and boost s3 is to pay the $5 to get a license to "sprint s3 ultimate rootkit" just google it and download the free version then click on support dev... it will guide you thru donating the $5 and the dev will then email you a code to activate the unlocked version...

The full version roots the phone with out delay or error... but i needed twrp recovery and the program installed CWM, AND THE WRONG VERSION... Make sure u get right recovery or your gonna bootloop into recovery over and over....
