I did it like described above - a problem appeared during the root.zip installation. after reading the xda site there was a important hint for me - DON'T select auto reboot in the odin tool - so I installed CWM recovery again (without autoreboot) and I was able to install the root.zip file. Now it's rooted !

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteDo I need to extract the root.zip file before copying it to the SD card of my device?
Hi
ReplyDeleteDo you have any idea as to why nothing happens when I click Start? (Step 7). Nothing happens on the tab, and Odin just says this in the log:
Odin v.3 engine (ID:4)..
File analysis..
SetupConnection.
Thanks,
Morne
