    1. On a different site they did not advise to untick the "Auto Reboot". Now I am at step 8 and wondering what indicates the tablet has finished? Odin or the tablet?

Odin indicated it was finished but the tablet still says "Downloading.... Do not turn off the target"

  6. Great guide, now my Tab is finally rooted :) Thanks!

Also, as a note for other beginner rooters. The installation of the CWM recovery is done as soon as Odin says "Reset" and the green bar is full. Even if your device still says "Downloading", but Odin is finished, just unplug the USB-cable and hold in the Power + Volume UP buttons until you see the Samsung Galaxy Tab logo, then release the power button and voila! Clockworkmod Recovery screen!

If the screen reads "BinDroid" and you see "Clockwork Mod Recovery" on the top of the screen, and if you see the "install zip from sdcard", then you're on the right track.

IF... you somehow don't see the above, then you're in the normal recovery of your stock rom, which means that you did something wrong.

    Hope it helps!
